Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information magictype.in collects and how it’s used.

Information collected at checkout. When you purchase a font, WooCommerce collects your name, email, and billing address to process the order and send you the download and receipt. This is stored in our WordPress database for order-history and accounting purposes.

Payment information. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay. MagicType never sees or stores your card, UPI, or bank details — these are collected and processed directly by Razorpay under its own privacy policy and PCI-compliant systems.

Free downloads. If you download a free font, we may collect your email address (where a download form requires it) to send you the file and occasional updates about new fonts, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.

Cookies. This site uses cookies for cart/checkout functionality (WooCommerce) and for basic traffic analytics (Google Analytics, via Google Site Kit). These help us understand which fonts and pages are popular; they do not identify you personally.

Comments. If you leave a comment on the site, your IP address and browser user-agent are collected to help detect spam. An anonymized hash of your email may be checked against the Gravatar service to display a profile picture, if you have one.

Embedded content. Pages may include embedded content (e.g. videos) from other sites, which behaves as if you visited that site directly and may collect data or use cookies of its own.

Data retention. Order records are kept as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. Comment data is retained to support ongoing spam moderation. You can request a copy of, or deletion of, the personal data we hold about you (aside from records we’re legally required to keep) by emailing [email protected].

Third parties. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site and process orders: Razorpay (payments), Google Analytics/Site Kit (traffic analytics), and our WordPress hosting provider.
